Dear Hillcrest Families,

This is just a reminder of where information can be found about bus cancellations and possible school closures on inclement weather days. All information with regards to cancellations (bus, school) will be posted in the morning on the WRDSB website ( www.wrdsb.ca ), along with our school website (hil.wrdsb.ca).  Families can also register on this website to receive email notifications of delays (go to “Subscribe by Email” and click on the icon to register).

 

Information will also be shared on many local radio stations (e.g. CHYM, KOOL-FM, 570 News, The Beat, Dave FM, Oldies 1090, amongst others) and via the Board’s social media feed.

 

For families who have children transported by school bus, any information about bus delays can be found on the Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region website at www.STSWR.ca. Families can also register on this website to receive email notifications of delays (go to “delays, closures and cancellations” and click on the “subscriptions” icon to register).
