Meeting #4- January 14, 2015 ______________________________________________________________________________

Agenda:

1)Welcome and Attendance

– Kim McMullen, Veronica Maloney, Sandy Hickey, Karen Bocskay, Marc Laurente

 

2) Review minutes from November meeting

– Minutes approved

 

3) Review Cake Walk

– 530 dollars were raised for Nutrition for Learning

 

4) Review Staffing Changes

– Mark Neville has replaced Michelle Chessel in FDK.

– Helen Thomas has replaced Laura Shantz in Grade 1.

 

5) Review Seasonal Concert

– appreciated the early notice for the concert

– excellent length of time for the concert

 

6)      Dance-A-Thon

– March 13^th (the day before March Break)

– Mrs. Devlin will ask School Council for support if specific jobs are needed

– School Council will help to request prizes

 

7)      Bike Rally

– will table this item for the next School Council meeting in February

 

8) Any other business

– Gym Mats will be installed on the Gym Walls

– Veronica Maloney would like to start a Yoga Club

 

9) Review minutes and action items

Action items:

1) Does Mrs. Devlin want/need volunteers for specific jobs?

2) School Council to seek out prizes for Dance-A-Thon.

3) Convene with Bike Rally Committee for the next meeting

4) Yoga Club will be explored at the next meeting
